Brief

The General Directorate of Tourism launches the Luxembourg Tourism Awards. It is an initiative that celebrates hospitality, culture and innovation and showcases the diversity and quality of the tourism sector in the Grand Duchy. They wanted to reward tourism stakeholders in their respective sectors and help revive activity while highlighting the quality of Luxembourg as a tourist destination: a cosmopolitan country at the heart of Europe. Based on defined criteria, a multidisciplinary jury will reveal all the laureates, the finalists and the winners in each category on a Ceremony. The award is meant to be every 2 years with different themes. We needed to create a identity that reflects Luxembourg and give this project strong awareness, a storytelling and a graphic line to showcase excellence, art, culture and innovation.

Solution

The logo is inspired by the nation branding, but really takes an « Art Deco » touch that lives on its own and captivates in the overall graphic universe with black, gold and white colors, mixed with visit luxembourg pictures to highlight the diversity of the touristic activity. The lines from the branding are brought to life in motion to reveal all corporate and campaign messages. The deployment goes from offline :brochure, press release, print ads... to online : website design and development, community management, motion design… We also support the organisation of the ceremony and jury workflow.
